The main test results are as follows:

• The average increase in the surface of the triboceramic material (restoration) on the cylinder surfaces was 5 µm.

• The surface roughness of the cylinder walls after treatment was 1.2 Ra, compared to 6.6 Ra before treatment, i.e., 1/5.5.

• The average increase in compression pressure in the TÜV test was 12%.

• The engine operated without engine oil (smooth running, normal operating temperature) for at least 1 hour.
