For manual transmissions (T3-T5)
RVS TECHNOLOGY® for transmissions
Improve the economy and durability of your vehicle while you make it environmentally more friendly.
RVS TECHNOLOGY® protects surfaces and equipment from wear. Transmission parts wear, which causes them to become stiff and noisy. After the treatment, the transmission becomes easier to use and it works more accurately.
In the product family, there are products for both automatic and manual transmissions. Carrying out the treatment is easiest if done during a regular service. You can also do it yourself if you know where to add oil to the transmission.

User experience
My car is an Audi A6 2010 diesel with a mileage of 260 thousand km that had got new oil and RVS after that. I drove 400 km, changed the oil again and made the second RVS treatment. Now I have driven 8,000 km, and the fuel consumption has dropped by 0.2 litres per 100 km. Oil consumption has been about 0.5 dl per 8,000 km, just checked. Cold starts are quicker than before the treatment. Good emissions on MOT (annual inspection). Smoother and less noisy operation. Nothing has changed in how I use the car. I drive 60 km to work and back using the same route plus to the shop 1 km one-way, and I’d say that I drive in a similar manner before and after the treatment. This is a marvellous product.
I have seen parts of engines that have been treated with RVS by Ossi Oikarinen [a former F1 engineer] and Sami Seliö [two-time F1 powerboat world champion]. I have been able to measure the effect of RVS in a BMW K75 motorcycle (1989 model) for a long time. But it surely surpriced me when the engine that had been working flawlessly despite its 350,000 kms on the clock was dismantled just to be sure it was OK, and the service shop told me that many of its internal parts were like new. Here, for instance, are the crank main bearings, deemed to be like new by the service shop. One would think that they would be clearly worn in a motorcycle engine with such a high mileage. But no. The last 200,000 kms the engine has been treated with RVS, i.e. the treatment has been renewed a few times.
RVS Technology, on muuten hullu juttu, olen varmasti sahannut viimeisen vuoden aikana enemmän kuin ikinä aikaisemmin eikä ole käsittelyn jälkeen tarvinnut ketjua kiristää kertaakaan. I’ve consumed several tanks of fuel by sawing timber with a diameter of 60 to 70 cm (about two feet) . The sawing chain hasn’t stretched or worn! I also treated the chain with RVS Technology Universal Spray at some point when the chain got very hot.
